Konsento is a free software web application that helps collectives, cooperatives and self-managed spaces make decisions in a transparent, structured and accessible way.
It was born from a real need: Nau Bostik, a self-managed cultural centre in the Sagrera neighbourhood of Barcelona, was managing its assemblies, working groups and agreements through instant messaging, scattered emails and unstructured shared documents. Decisions got lost, responsibilities became blurred and institutional memory disappeared with every change of people.
Cuida is a free, open-source web app built for families caring for a sick relative at home. It brings together everything you need to know: medical contacts, medication, emergency protocols and caregiver schedules — accessible from everyone’s phone.
It grew from a real need: coordinating a family of ten people around a grandfather with cardiorespiratory failure, continuous oxygen and morphine, supported by a palliative home care team (PADES). When you arrive at the emergency room at three in the morning, you can’t be searching for the GP’s name or which morphine dose he takes. Cuida has it all, one tap away.

When an exhibition wants the audience to pick its favourite work, there are usually two options: a paper ballot box that’s hard to count, or an online form where anyone can vote from home as many times as they like.
This app does what neither manages: voting from your phone, only for people at the exhibition, one vote per work and person, with no personal data requested.
What it is
The 9 Barris Imatge collective has been documenting the Nou Barris district of Barcelona since 2002. Since 2018 it has published with its own system: Taro Photo App.
Taro has three parts, all free software:
- A static website built with Hugo and the PaperMod theme, with a custom design.
- A content manager (Sveltia CMS, hosted on the same site) so members can publish without touching code.
- Python modules for what a static site can’t do alone: audience voting, forms that reach an inbox, and automatic publishing.
9barrisimatge.org is the reference installation: 3,008 articles, 24 member profiles and 19 years of archive. The distributed software is the same system without the collective’s data, so any other photography group can install it with its own members, articles and albums.
The physics, solved on your phone
A pinhole camera has no lens. Just a hole. And that hole dictates everything: the light that enters, the time required, the light captured on film.
The problem is that pinhole physics leaves no room for calculation errors. An effective aperture of f/128 or f/180, combined with the reciprocity characteristics of each emulsion, produces numbers that are hard to work out in your head. Until now.
Some tools make noise. Others simply solve things.
Positivitzador was born from a very specific need: understanding what you’re looking at when working with negatives. No gimmicks, no pointless filters. Open the camera, look… and see the image as a positive.
Designed for darkrooms, workshops, and photochemical processes, this small web app does one thing —and does it well—: invert the image in real time so you can read light, contrast, and composition with clarity.
